As a multi-purpose tool, MusicVault doesn't need to handle Vaults or collections at all. Maybe you just want to use it as a tool to tag and rename the songs on your harddrive. When pressing the harddrive button beside the Vault button, the screen will change into "Harddrive view", showing you an explorer-like folderview to the left and the files in the selected folder to the right.
Renames and Tag edits that are performed in the Harddrive View is performed on the actual files. A powerful tool (but also a bit dangerous if you don't know what you are doing).
If you press the MP3-button over the folderlist, only folders that contain
MP3-music is shown, making it faster to find the music you want. This function
takes some time to start for the first time, since it needs to scan your harddrives
for folders containing music, but you will enjoy the service once they are scanned.
